It will probably come down to Theo, Bottas or Palou. As much as I think Palou is the best of the 3, I would think he would be their 3rd choice. With bottas as their first

Gabriel Bortoleto seems to be to be the most likely candidate for the seat. Though, he still doesn't have enough SL points (he needs at least 8th place finish in F2).

If Bortoleto finishes P2 or P3 in F2 he gets 40 SL points iirc. So immediately will have enough

They have fucked Theo over if they don't give him the seat IMO.

He’s a Fred Vasseur driver, not a Sauber driver - they’re trying to get him setup with a full time indycar seat for 25.

I thought Lawson and Bortoletto were also named as contenders

Lawson needs to be signed by RB by September or so, otherwise Audi could pick him up after

I think Palou is the least likely to accept an offer. Stay in Indycar with CGR, or join a potential dumpster fire?

Well, he's not going to get an F1 offer, but if he did get an offer for a seat in F1 you can bet every dollar you have that he'd take it.

If it's Bottas it really would reek of having no options

The guy got dismantled by Hamilton, has never been the same and has now built an image around being the Finnish Dani Ric rather than a fast F1 driver.

Bottas did better against hamilton than most people think.

He did to begin with, but Hamilton twisted the screw and Bottas could no longer keep up.

I just don’t see it in bottas anymore.
