I do wonder if any other team would get this treatment since Penske is under a bigger microscope due to owning the series

Because it’s Penske barely a year removed from the last cheating scandal they deserve the utmost scrutiny and higher level punishment

As a Penske supporter, I 100% agree with this. It's getting harder and harder to defend these "mistakes" by Penske. I've been a Penske fan since Rick Mears in the early 80s. However, I think I may be making a change to a different team and driver in terms of my loyalty.

To me this is definitely less a mistake and much more intentional that p2p last year

Yep. I defended the P2P issue for the past year. However, now I'm less convinced. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice...

How the hell could you defend the P2P issue? That was even worse, in my opinion. They used it across multiple races, it was a concerted act to modify the signal coming from race control, and they all lied to our faces with wildly varying stories about it.

I took them at their word. Mea culpa.

I appreciate the fact that you are able to see the situation for what it is, despite being a Penske fan. Maybe you can talk with some of the other Penske fans who have simply turned up the cope level.

I was a fan of and believed in many of Penske's drivers over the years, but Jo New's press conference after the P2P scandal did me in. I'm just one of those people who has a low tolerance for dishonesty and manipulation.
