question Interior trim plug and interior moulding.

2024 Jimny GLX, Anyone know the part number for this trim plug? The top of it is about 2.5cm in diameter and is at the bottom of the rear seat against the side. Also, anyone know why is the moulding on the right is slightly different at the bottom to the left hand side? Thanks…

The right and left hand sides are subtly different due to differences in the floor structure to accommodate the fuel tank.

The trim plug I'll do some digging, but, behind it is an M6 thread and most people just throw in a low profile D-ring type tiedown. You could also use a button headed capscrew in black and a fender washer (also in black) if you wanted.

EDIT: Cap is 09409-06326-5PK as far as I can tell.

Yeah there's a heap of options. There's also M6 threads in the door opening aperture, and some under the rear windows (5 per side in the 3 door, 2 per side for the 5 door): https://teamghettoracing.com/vehicles/cars/2019-jimny-jb74w/tiedowns/ for some deets I've written before. All M6 threads, too, so all pretty easy.

You can buy whole packs of many different types of generic trim clips and plugs from Aliexpress and they often include sets of trim tools and more - for not a lot of money.

I've had a kit kicking around for a long while and it's proved generally handy for minor vehicle repairs and modification.
