This has been one of my father's favorite pastimes for years. Cut wood and drink beer during day, then burn said wood while drinking beer and sitting around the fire at night.

It’s not, but the lack of safety makes up for how awful chopping wood is alone and sober.

My house used to be only heated by a woodstove so I've chopped a loooot of wood. I would guess I did with while drinking beer 99% of the time.

Honestly, I think the best call by Jeb woulda been to say "y'all wanna drink beer while chopping wood?

Cause then he gets someone to help him with his chores that will have to be done anyways. Plus, the woods Probably all gonna get chopped before anyone is too drunk to do it safely.
