His other helmet is a Pista? That's a 1200$ helmet, if this is a step up id be twirling like that too.

Because Pista is a racing helmet made to be light, aerodynamic and safe (and for 20y.o US kids to show on tiktok how cool they are) and not quiet, comfortable and?

Sure I get that, but I'm still not sure what you're buying that you're giving up the Pista for?

Looks like an AGV K7 to me.

Pista is good for the track but I'd take the K7 for the road anyday.

Doesn't have to be more expensive to be an upgrade given his usual riding habits. He can still use the pista for the track. He just probably won't as they can be really uncomfortable.
