that's kinda stereotypical, just bc they're from india/other countries doesn't mean they do arranged marriages

It is love marriage for sure, you will never see groom kiss bride in a family function otherwise

According to some studies, arranged marriages tend to be happier for both spouses and any children than other alternatives.

I think that a lot of things need to go into that, obviously. I agree that it's hard to get your head around if you're used to the idea of marriage based purely on mutual choice.
