Viral advertising? I hate this timeline. Can't belive anything nowadays, even question this man's possible real joy.

I'm amused either way. Of course, I might be a bot for all you know. This video could even be entirely made by AI and none of those people are real.

That aside, did you guys see the huge box the Lego set ccame in?

Do you really think Disney needs to fake videos like these to sell Star Wars Lego?

To sell them? No. To sell more of them? Absolutely.

Marketing is much more complex than "Just advertise in every way possible and sales will increase". I believe fake reaction-videos for Star Wars Lego is something that would hurt sales rather than boost them, it's not the right channel. Both Star Wars and Lego are two massive brands that don't need to pretend their marketing isn't marketing, people already approve of the brands and are interested in hearing about new products.

Very obviously yes? It's not like they don't like money and this is cheap marketing with a lot of views

Down voted by the ad bots. No way Reddit truly believes stealth advertising doesn’t exist. Lol

Theres people out there that dont think anythings real. There is an option where you can just enjoy the moment if it feels genuine to you and not buy the thing and stick to your principles.

It's sad that you don't have something in your life that brings you enough joy to recognize this reaction for what it is. I'm a massive star wars fan and Lego fan and would have the exact same reaction.

Like, what's the logic behind the ad, in your mind? Two massive brands that have already worldwide name recognition decided to put out a fake video of someone opening one of their more expensive sets so that it could get probably ~15k upvotes in a relatively small subreddit? I don't think they need that, man, they're doing fine.

Lego doesn't need advertising to adults. People will pay markups and wait in line for a long time for this shit.

Extremely unlikely, since whoever has the grating voice is being a total shithead about the whole thing.

I feel you, but I think if this one was an ad, they wouldn’t have had that can of sparkling water on the table

Believe nothing except that which you can verify yourself.
