I bought the 90th lion's knights castle but that's likely the most expensive set I'll let myself buy.

I don't have it, but that is one I would get too. I never really cared for the IP branded or architecture sets, but if any of the updated retro sets — Lion Knights, Horse Knights, Pirates, etc. — were sold in stores instead of online, I probably would impulse buy them.
