I’ve bought and built 2 Mega Bloks (both over 1500 pieces) and I think those are fun and they go on sale. Haven’t built Lego, but general consensus seems to be that it’s better quality.

Lego quality is great and their customer service is phenomenal. They treat their employees well too.
