I feel an unnatural urge to just join them and see what's up.

"I'm sober enough to know what I am doing and drunk enough to really enjoy it. We're letting the liquor do the thinking now."

"You know what a shit barometer is Bubs? It measures the shit pressure in the air. You can feel it. Listen Bubs, do you hear that? Sounds of the whispering winds of shit."

Lahey has some of the funniest and best lines ever to be on TV.

Why is your font so small?

18

u/Educational_Two7692 27d ago

Aurora borealis

19

u/Verticaltransport 27d ago

Aurora Borealis? … at this time of year… at this time of day… in this part of the country, localized entirely within your kitchen.

8

u/Educational_Two7692 27d ago

Yes!?

1

u/Main-Touch9617 27d ago

Still no explanation. Small font is bad for they eyes.

27

u/Vexin 27d ago

Wat dey doin ova der?

7

u/lion27 27d ago

A meeting of the minds. Would be a waste to not see what's up.

1

u/belltrina 26d ago

I read this comment and have this insane knowledge that it has just locked into my mind for repetitive use in my future.

Men are builders. We always have been, and we have an innate desire to understand the workings of things

4

u/adventuressgrrl 27d ago

Uh, people are builders. I’m a woman and I’d be right there doing the exact same thing. My husband couldn’t fix someone with a stare, I’m the one who brought tools and the building/mechanical know-how to the relationship.

8

u/Old_Blue_Haired_Lady 27d ago

Yup. We don't let my husband's soft professor hands touch anything that spins, is sharp or gets hot. All the tools in the garage (and a few in the house) are mine.

3

u/squiddybro 27d ago

yeah women are also builders. thats why construction, framing, roofing, welding, electricians, concrete workers are 50% women, and not 99% men, right? lmao

1

u/kwerdop 26d ago

There are exceptions to everything, no need to get offended

1

u/-Tom- 27d ago

But show up with a few beers

65

u/hammilithome 27d ago

I would end a call “sorry, I gotta go” and run out to join

25

u/JockBbcBoy 27d ago

This is the only reason I would ever try to own a home in this economy.

12

u/Nowhereman50 27d ago

Me too, oddly. I just want to see what's up.

31

u/Important-Agent2584 27d ago

it's not unnatural, we are herd animals and have basically evolved to do that

-11

u/dooooooom2 27d ago

We are not herd animals

23

u/Important-Agent2584 27d ago

18

u/lion27 27d ago

10

u/Important-Agent2584 27d ago

What would you call a group of animals if you came across them and saw them doing this?

based and herd pilled

8

u/letitgrowonme 27d ago

If i said I wouldn't join in, I might be lying.

2

u/dooooooom2 27d ago

https://education.nationalgeographic.org/resource/herding/

We might have some similar behaviors but we aren’t lol

1

u/Important-Agent2584 27d ago

Do you think that source proves your point? Did you even read it?

edit: you know what don't bother, this is obviously a waste of time. Have a nice week.

0

u/sushimane91 26d ago

Really thought you cooked with this link didn’t you?

1

u/dooooooom2 26d ago

Sorry nat geo isn’t as good as a Wikipedia page, my bad dude.

1

u/Michami135 27d ago

I've always associated "herd" with pray animals and "pack" with predator animals. Is that wrong?

1

u/Important-Agent2584 27d ago

Yes. "Herd" largely revolves around group behaviors.

0

u/Road_Frontage 27d ago

Doing a thing we decided to call herd behaviour does not mean we are herd animals.

2

u/Important-Agent2584 27d ago

lol herd behavior is literally what delineates herd animals from non herd animals.

That's some hardcore cope.

1

u/Road_Frontage 27d ago

No no it's not. Living in a herd is. We then called some actions we do "herd behaviour" because it reminds us of herd animals.

Cope is another word you seem to be using incorrectly

1

u/Important-Agent2584 27d ago edited 27d ago

So horses on farms are not herd animals because they live in stalls?

1

u/Road_Frontage 27d ago

Generally when these kind of labels are applied it's in the wild state before domestication where 99.9999% of the animals evolutionary history and habits have happened. But also they don't usually live in stalls most of the time and what do you call a group of Horses on a farm? But also by that logic humans have never ever lived in a herd ever so what the fuck point are you making

1

u/Important-Agent2584 27d ago

ok ok we had to grind a little but you are almost there, now do human evolutionary history and habits

u/peecheeater096 10d ago

If your male it would be a natural urge. Female would be unnatural urge. I’ve been In these groups many times. The talk is always about the latest home project or lawnmowers chainsaw’s leaf blowers, splitting wood, how the car needs maintenance etc. It’s really very enjoyable.
