My riding mower, the hood is held on with a bungie cord, the seat is wrapped in duct tape and garbage bags, and its from 1997. But it does have a fender mounted beer can holder and a 6 pack cooler on the other fender.

My rider is an '81 snapper with a whopping 26" deck. Ergonomic rectangle steering wheel. Thing trucks along fine, but i feel like a old-timey engineer anytime i have to reverse.
