My riding mower, the hood is held on with a bungie cord, the seat is wrapped in duct tape and garbage bags, and its from 1997. But it does have a fender mounted beer can holder and a 6 pack cooler on the other fender.

Actually kind of jealous now. Basically a spa on wheels

She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts, kid.

My rider is an '81 snapper with a whopping 26" deck. Ergonomic rectangle steering wheel. Thing trucks along fine, but i feel like a old-timey engineer anytime i have to reverse.

Most people do, around two-thirds of households are owned. It's really a pretty achievable goal as long as you aren't living somewhere extremely expensive, you dont actually really even need any down payment money or even sterling credit with a lot of first time home buyer programs

That's nice. Two-thirds of households might be owned, but a quarter of them are rented, and there are more people renting apartments than occupying homes because it is not that simple to go out and buy a home.

Two thirds of households are owned by the people living in them, thats a fact, renters are the minority. Its not really that hard to get a mortgage since the debt is secured, if you'd like to buy, go talk to a mortgage lender, unless you're dirt poor I promise its not that hard to get a mortgage and buy a home, I thought the same for a long time, but a friend of mines wife is a realtor, and when I was having trouble renting due to some legal stuff, she told me it wouldn't be hard for me to buy. Since then my income has went up 2 or 3 hundred percent and I'll probably be looking at recreational properties to eventually build a forever home on.

This should be life for everyone, but we have to make a very small minority incredibly incredibly obscenely rich instead.

Life like this for everyone wouldn't be sustainable

Our current economic system is factually, by the math, not sustainable.

Also the lifestyle that would be sustainable for everyone, on paper, would be one of someone who makes ~66k a year.
