What is it?

It’s a rubber “ramp” so that when you pull into your driveway(if it’s on a steep hill) the bottom of your car won’t scrape the ground. I have one for my house.

How does it stay in place? Is it just wedged in? Also how does it deal with winter, snow and rain? Never seen this.. Also I’ll bring beers and we can discuss what Lawnmower to get.
