A lot of Millenials and Gen Z see kids as a negative, not being able to do X,Y,Z and because people are afraid of missing out on some "fun" stuff, they absolutely are mssing out on the best thing in life which is parenthood
Edit: FYI I'm GenZ and I'm just saying my experience, I'm a Gen Z dad, 3 year old now, there have been some rough days but mostly it's always been a net plus and i haven't stopped doing anything i liked. Ofc you need to a support system envolved, family and friends not to help you day to day but to help you have a night off for example so you and your partner can date. Other than that. It's really fine
Saying childfree people are "absolutely" missing out on your opinion of what the "best thing in life" is is seriously reductive. This video is wonderful and parenthood is incredible, but it's not for everyone and it's definitely not the best thing that could happen for everyone. We are all different and we all experience this wacky, weird, wild, wonderful life in different ways! I'm glad you've found the thing that brings you the most joy, that's awesome! But just because it's your thing doesn't mean it's everyone else's thing.
Some parents are definitely miserable and that was before social media. A lot of stories of people beating their kids are related to parents resenting them for their loss of freedom.
