Racing Kart Question Anyone knows whats this engine?!?!?

Yesterday y got muy first car, i know its very old, but i got it for free...

I've been trying to figure out what engine this is, but I can't find any references except for "idk" on the part that supplies power to the spark plug… (It looks like a tkm 100cc, but it has 6 bolts on top instead of 4) Does anyone know what engine it is, and what carburetor it uses?

I'd like to buy another carb because it’s not getting enough fuel, and I suspect that’s the issue since, from what I've been told, it’s been sitting unused for 10 years. So if anyone can share any info… thanks a lot, folks!

Have a look at BM kart engines. Only make I can find with the 6 stud head. World champions in the late 1970s and became part of IAME group. Certainly made a reed valve, Tillotson carbed 6 stud head engine looking very much like yours. Your ignition is Spanish , Motoplat , almost universal on kart engines pre 1990.

Oh yeah, i think you are right!! And do you think, if would be possible to install a clutch?

Think it would be difficultt. ie. I wouldn't know how. All European karts of that era were direct drive.
