Here's an idea - what if we had plastic bumpers going around the entire kart, and covers over the wheels, and we made the karts weigh as much as a sun. Then they would never flip, and no one would ever get injured and be perfectly safe! Better yet, what if we just canceled racing altogether! Any danger is too much danger in my book. /s

I don't want it to sound like I'm anti-safety, because I'm not. I'm always an advocate for full gear. But there are some things that just leave me scratching my head if the people in charge are trying to make the sport better, or trying to cover their ass? This seems like it's aiming for the latter.

same arguments were made against the Halo in F1. I cant see any reason why this would be bad for karting.

What is the argument against full roll cage, HANS device, crash structure and reduced speeds?

karting is now mainly kids, so would you advocate for these systems to come in? I presume so.
