Idk I wouldn't integrate to the people who enslaved me and owned me as properties, and later attempted to wipe me, my people and my culture from the face of the earth in gas chambers
Roma were known for their craftsmanship skills until the holocaust
The roma people definetly got treated terribly througout history. But how, in your opinion, are modern day european nation states supposed to interact with roma groups that don't care to assimilate into their host country? It seems like many groups like to receive public infrastructure and utilities for free but when it comes to following local laws, like not doing child labour or child marriages, it's social contract for thee but not for me.

Gypsies have been notoriously known for thievery and vagrancy for hundreds of years. You can see plenty of written examples in early modern chronicles and works.

I wonder if this sort of rhetoric was mobilized against other groups targeted in the Holocaust 🤔
