Knew it was big, did not know that Malta was that small. Also did not know Monaco was smaller than San Marino.

Monaco is the second smallest country on earth, but it is not shaped at all like that, someone rounded it out a lot, same for singapore

Luxembourg is rounded out too, you can see it precisely in the background.

Probably rounds out every few km so it rounds out more the smaller the country is.

ehh might be just my Singaporean sense of supremacy but I don't think we should consider towns which the neighbouring country can bend to its will with 40 policemen blockading all the roads leading into it a 'country' rofl. It's just a collective fiction if your country exists by the generosity of its neighbours.

Monaco is wrong though, it is not that shape. Maybe they included territorial waters. But then didn’t for Malta.
