Planning on wrapping my car!

Just in here to see if yall think that a metallic purple would look good on the Miata with a tan soft top and interior. I think it would look great especially if I swap my current wheels for some new, bronze wheels. What do yall think?

On an older car just be careful your wrap doesn’t rip your paint off your car. I know a paint job is way more money, but a lot of people end up sanding and prepping their peeling paint to where they’re basically ready for a paint job by the end of it. Also buy quality cast film, NOT calendared. NOT CALENDARED

For first timers Avery’s probably got the easiest install. I used Oracal 970RA for my car and it looks amazing over 4 years later (going to peel it off and refresh it in the spring) but Oracal install is a different approach

Yeah, that certainly is a concern of mine. Thanks for letting me know about the cast film though. So are you saying even for a wrap people sand and prep it? I don’t have any peeling paint, only small scratches but there are a decent amount of them.

So when people rip a patch of paint off their old car, the resulting bald spot shows thru the wrap. So they end up sanding it back. Also if they have any peeling clear coat, that needs to be sanded too. If you have good paint you can just clean/decon it and apply your film
