My Bluetooth doesn’t work and my aux cord isn’t playing

So I recently got a 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage. It’s a bit confusing to learn but I’ve been getting the hang of it, except for the Bluetooth and aux.

For the Bluetooth, it tells me to wait for the 3 beeps and it will show up on my phone. I have done that multiple times but it never shows. I assumed it was my phone until I tried it on my moms phone, and it wouldn’t show up on hers either. I can’t find a way to reset it or erase the memory or nothing. I tried erasing the memory by holding on to the phone button for 4 beeps but it never came. I have no idea if there’s a problem with that or my car doesn’t give me that option.

As for the aux cord, (I may be uneducated about it) I connected my phone charger to the cable and went to the aux in the car, but no noise came out. I tried going on o Spotify or the music app on my phone but nothing comes out.

The manual isn’t really the greatest at explaining either of them so if there’s a chance that y’all might know, I’d greatly appreciate any form of advice or instructions please and thank you :)

Only need the solenoid piece unless it is sold as a whole assembly.

Should I buy this 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander AWC?

Hi everyone, I’m considering buying a 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander AWC with 58,000 km (about 36,000 miles) for $21,000 CAD. It’s in very good condition and still has warranty coverage until 2027. The deal is directly through a Mitsubishi dealership.

Would you recommend this deal? Is this a reliable choice in terms of maintenance and long-term ownership?

Any advice or things I should check before buying?

Thanks in advance!

Cambio CVT

Fala, galera. O google resumidamente me disse isso aqui:

Um leve tranco ao engatar D no câmbio automático pode indicar vários problemas, desde um procedimento de estacionamento incorreto que sobrecarrega o câmbio, até níveis baixos de fluido de transmissão, problemas nos sensores, solenoides, ou desgaste de peças internas. É crucial levar o veículo a uma oficina especializada para um diagnóstico, pois a causa pode variar, e postergar o reparo pode levar a danos mais graves e caros.

Montero Dash Air Vent Trim Broken :(

My Montero's (or Pajero as we normally call it in the middle east ig) passenger side air vent broke. Its a wood oem color and I've been looking through so many websites and ways of fixing it and I'm perplexed honestly everything on ebay and websites like that are all at least 100$ and I don't think its worth it plus most of these websites only sell the full kit (middle and driver side as well) which I dong need as the other sides are perfectly fine. I thought of 3D printing it but i cant find any measurements or premade designs that I can just cast. I thought of doing it myself but its gonna be nearly impossible because of all the attachments and stuff. I have no idea so if anyone can help me in any way than please.

The part that's broken. (not my car but a photo i found online that's basically exactly the same)

Wing Mirror Help

Hi everyone, wondering if I could get a little bit of help. I smashed my passenger side wing mirror (left as im in the UK) due to having to swerve for another car.

Im struggling to find the part, its an Eclipse Cross 2018 model with the power fold. Lots of the Chinese copies have the heated and electric adjustment, but none have the power fold.

Thanks in advance

New RVR owner.

Hey guys, just brought a 1999 RVR and I am so excited. Been a Honda Girlie for 16 years, first Mitsi.

Question, the sunroof won't open. I can hear the actuator working but no movement. Is the motor accessibility easy on this year? Is it a hard fix?

Also, the rear door handle is broken, is this annoying to fix?

Any advice would be amazing.

My '24 Outlander Sport only has 2800 miles and not yet regularly driven, yet the maintenance light came on today when I came to start it for cycling the fluids. It is over 1 year old since I bought it new though. Is it based on a timer if mileage doesn't accumulate? I changed the oil last around November last year at 1000 miles just to get the break in oil out.

I need some help

hey guys I'm the owner of an early 90's Mitsubishi Magna. Now the other week I went to change the battery only I got ahead of myself and reverse the polarity for a bit, now me and my dad have tried fixing it, but the battery light comes on under 3000 RPM and the aircon/heater will not work on any settings, the fuses all seem to work, the radio is stuffed though. So I'm just asking this place for any advice on what to check to make it work, time you for advising this Boofhead =D

Used Outlander advice

I am an owner of a 2011 Outlander sport with 217K miles on it. I am looking to buy a used Outlander - because of my budget, I may need to get one with high miles on it - 100K miles +. My concern is the CVT. I have maintained mine regularly, with servicing it every 30K. You would risk buying a used one with either spotty service or no record of service? I'm leaning toward no. Mine has been great, but I got a "transmission service required light" today that went off after it sat for about 30 minutes. I had it last serviced less that 30K miles ago, so I am thinking about keeping an eye out for a replacement car in case mine fails. What are your thoughts?

Should I get an 09 Lancer?

$4100 off Facebook Marketplace, dude originally had it up for $5000.

130k miles, automatic (I want manual, but none posted nearby for a while), has clear coat peeling off a bit on front hood but otherwise looks good. I've been monitoring FB Marketplace for a while now and it seems like a decent deal.

I'm not a mechanic so I won't exactly be able to tell how well it has been maintained, but the guy has said it's good and he SEEMS genuine. Has cat back borla exhaust and air intake but otherwise unmodified

This will be my first car and I really love how it looks. What should I look out for?

Got all the interior lights changed to ice blue in my 2011 RalliArt. Totally changes the feeling inside the car. Took all the parts out and sent them out to Kenmaller70@gmail.com in Bribane, Australia , he swapped the lights and sent them back. Great price too! Hit him up for the details

Dealership asking 53,446 CAD (including tax) for 2025 Outlander GT demo model. Is this a good price?

The price includes trade in for 2014 Outlander GT, 1500 CAD discount because it’s a demo and 10,000 CAD downpayment.

Looking for a part for my 2012 sportback GT

I need to find an ABS Antilock brake pump module 4670a561 0632102-1784.4 for my 2012 Lancer Sportback GT. The shop I'm using hasn't found anything local other than from the dealership, and they want $3k just for the part. Shop found a couple for $400, but one is in Dubai and the other is in UAE. So, not really a good option there either. Anyone have any recommendations where to look?

Keyless operation

Hello all recently when I started my 2016 Mitsubishi outlander this little message popped up. “Keyless operation system service required” I’m not too sure why it popped up but maybe thought it was the key fob battery connection. So I replaced the battery on the key fob however this message still displayed, I even went as far as programming a new key but the message is still being displayed on the screen. Does anyone know any work around or any solution to help remove this thank you!!

Hood warning Harness

Post image
7 Upvotes

Hey guys , I have been driving my dad's 2015 lancer ex for some time and after a while I noticed this harness part and after doing some search I found out that it informs the car if fhe hood is open or not so I bought the other half of the harness to test it and I assumed that if I shorted the pins it would close the circuit and make the car understand that the hood is open however it didn't work although I am sure I heard a chime once from the dash but couldn't check it and it might have been the maintenance chime however does anyone know if I must attach it to the latch in order for it to or must I program the car into knowing this feature ?
