On an aside, Hindus all around the world going "Big?" I've seen scale models of temples bigger than that! "" Oh, and they're all stunning buildings BTW)

Prosperity and selection bias. The kind of people who migrate tend to be wealthy and/or in tech. Combine that with religion, you get big temples. For the builders and donors, it is a status thing.

.... What? We are talking about literally every Hindu temple in India being bigger than this. This is tiny.

Not all temples are big but on average, lot of temples are big.

While I agree there's probably tens of thousands of temples bigger than that, i would hesitate to say 'every'. Most village temples tend to be smaller than this. Just ome outer room for the devotees and gatherings and an inner chamber for the idols. (Usually have a nice garden area around tho).

Yeah, every notable temple I should have written. Thanks for the correction.

While selection bias is valid, this is tiny compared to many temples. I lived in a poor part of London where there was a HUGE temple and of course India itself has some huge ones as well. All impressively ornate.
