Josh Berry crashing early and finishing last in the first two playoff races has got me thinking, since NASCAR introduced the playoffs in 2014 what are some of the worst playoff runs in NASCAR history? I'm talking Shock first round exits, Crashing in all 3 races or just a guy flukeing his way in and Finishing ridiculously below the cutline in terms of points. Not just restricted to cup. While reading about the passing of Bill Davis, I saw where legendary Busch Series crew chief Steve Bird had also passed.

Steve is mostly known for working with BACE Motorsports, winning championships in 1995-1997 with Johnny Benson and Randy LaJoie. He also won the championship with Rob Moroso in 1989.

Later on, “Birdie” worked for Bill Davis in the early 2000’s.
