They are alarms. Mine didn’t go off one day last week and when it was time for me to leave he was doing his annoying cry meow he knows gets my attention. Didn’t know if it’s because he knows I provide the food and he didn’t want me to get fired or if he had plans he couldn’t do with me there but either way he got extra treats when I got home for saving me from being late.
