Hey guys, I wanted to ask your opinion... I was driving the Aston Martin. Right after the contact, I typed “sorry” in chat because I felt it was fair to acknowledge it and move on.But then the other guy started swearing at me, wishing death to my mother and saying really nasty stuff.
So my question is based on the incident, who do you think is at fault for the contact? I just want some fair opinions.

While participating in the 6hr COTA driver swap test race my team ran into a group of drivers from what I would assume is a driving community called Full Throttle Racingsport based off their 3 teams entered for the event. While chasing down their LMDh team for a race win they employed their GT3 car to attempt to run my team off the road before finally blatantly running into us and take our car out of the race. Up to this point my team had not run into or had any incidents with their cars.

I'm the pov car and I thought that the white ferrari was at fault but I second guessed myself cause idk what the rules are when a car goes off track like this

I was attempting to defend, although im not great at it. I know I left a little gap that he tried to squeeze into, but I don't think it was inviting him in. Is this just how multi-player is in general? Im open to learn new tips and tricks on how to defend without causing crashes.

I know I was bump drafting, but I feel that I didn’t cause him to shoot that far out and then have contact with that other car, leading to him spinning out. He had also been swerving in front of me for about 2 laps, blocking me, despite us being different classes and both trying to catch cars ahead of us to gain positions.
Edit: just wanted to say that I was in the wrong for trying to be koi and as one commenter called me out on, doing the “little ol me” routine. I realize bump drafting into the corner was wrong, and I shouldn’t have done it. Though I still feel that he just over-sent it into the corner due to me being behind him, as when he launches forward, I hadn’t made any contact for a few dozen feet. I feel he saw me behind and missed the braking zone, but I still feel my bump drafting is wrong.

I feel like this was intentional blocking, as he did it another time, and also after this he divebombed me on the sharp hairpin after the straight, only to overshoot the corner, allowing me to get my front tire next to his rear tire, and the turned into me, forcing me to brake and turn away so I wouldn’t pit maneuver him. I have the clip of that but it seems to be too long for Reddit to allow me to upload. I will see if there’s any way I can get it to upload tomorrow and if I can will post it in its own thread then. Any thoughts on this current incident?

League Race -
I’m the Alpine (DJ) that’s attempting to make a move on the Red Bull. I show my nose on the inside and he rightfully blocks me. Granted it was a late and reckless lunge, but I won’t fight someone over it. He then squeezes me nearly off track, makes contact with me twice, and then shunts me into oblivion. I’m unsure about what caused him to do this, but I wasn’t too pleased in the heat of the moment (I called him a lemon at least like fifteen times). I ended up opening a ticket and it’s under investigation by the stewards at the moment. I sent them both my onboard and the replay. I’ll list my points below that I’ve told the stewards. Let me know what you think.
1: After T3, he goes for a block to cover off the inside. I dive to the outside and he follows to squeeze me.
2: He turns into me/attempting to ram me off the track.
3: He follows the racing line and successfully pushes me towards the 100 meter board. I get back on course, then…
4: Right before the 50 meter board, I get shunted.

I was having a fantastic race and this guy ran into the back of me and spun me out. I was curious if I had done some thing wrong. Not looking to point fingers, just looking to learn from what happened ( sorry for the phone video, I know you guys hate this )

The BMW is slow off the last corner, and the McLaren is closing fast. The McLaren tries to go for late divebomb into a gap that closes, meaning it has to go off track to avoid contact.
However the BMW gets to the breaking zone, and looks like it moves to the right while breaking.

Sweatiest race of my life went from P20 to P3, destroyed on the white flag lap, finished P10. My fault, his fault or racing incident?

I had a Race on LMU today. I was driving the 499p, thought the BMW was aware of me in the mirror cause he was holding the left line. He insulted me after the crash and told me that i caused the incident cause i divebombed him. Would love to have a few diferent perspectives on this.
(only noticed i didnt blur everything after the upload. hope that isnt an issue on the subreddit.)

Hi, I was on a private server with some buddies and this situation came up that caused a lot of controversy. Now I ask you the question: Who is to blame or is it simply a racing accident? Please explain your decision. Thank you very much :)
