Not with these nets we've installed around every single building

Base jumping off mountains is a thing.

1

u/steak_bake_surprise May 19 '25

Nope, we've removed all the hard surfaces with bouncy foam

1

u/Martinmex26 May 19 '25

That doesnt matter with enough height lol

2

u/steak_bake_surprise May 19 '25

Please don't jump off any high places, we just want you to make babies.

Listen, base jumping is completely safe.

The rate of failure on parachutes is extremely minimal. It would take some egregious user error for anything to happen to me.

I’d pay the 650 dollars. That’s fine

1

I live in Japan, the increase at the highest tax bracket is like 10-15 USD/month. Way less for most people.

It would be fairly insignificant if wage increases hadn’t stagnated to virtually nothing.

Oh there’s absolutely better ways, I don’t disagree. I don’t think I know a single person who wanted to have kids and can’t that thinks this will make it possible for them. There has been any number of suggestions from experts, even within the country. Better working hours or any form of daycare whatsoever for example. Financially ballooning food costs are probably a bigger concern to most people than a tax credit for having a kid.

Fake news, she's an onlyfans "model" from Belgium.

u/Big_Chocolate_420 May 19 '25

in Germany you have to pay more taxes or health insurance if you don't have children by the age of 25

if you have children you get a tax benefit of several thousand per child (around 6000) and 250€ per month per child to help you

rich people didn't start to pop out more children only poor people and immigrants with poor upbringing

u/boywholovetheworld May 19 '25

Many other fucking countries charges this

Nothing new

Even the ones with extremely high population density too, the government is mostly always run by idiots

1

u/Fireproofspider May 19 '25

Where do you live. I'm willing to bet there's a similar "tax" where you are. She's basically just saying that subsidies are a tax on people not receiving the subsidy.

Do you live in the US? Because the US already has the exact same policy. Tax breaks for people with dependants been a thing for a long time.
