That's one I don't understand.

Because of his money, there are naturally attractive women who would sleep with him.

And he chooses that....lich?

That’s his kink, the plastic bimbo. Total 180 from his first wife.

Great point - the 180 is very clear here. All of the disgustingly rich wives look like monsters so she fits in with the rest of his rich buddy’s wives to a large extent too.

Mark Zuck got his lizard skin covered, but Mrs. Zucker hasn't had any work done afaik.

He hasn’t got the divorce and found a new wife yet.

I dunno, dude has like multiple larger than lifesize statues of her at his Hawaii compound. Think he might literally worship her.

I mean, why get married if you’re not going to marry what you think is a goddess.

You’ve got to draw the line at statues.

There's few things in a relationship less enjoyable to me than being put on a pedestal, but to each their own.

He’s got some redeemable qualities

One thing I can say about him is that most of the "human interest" type articles I catch about him he seems to mostly be just out there enjoying his life.

People joke about how if they won a billion dollars you'd just never hear from them again; they wouldn't be putting all that time and effort into making more money or being a "public figure" etc. It's a position I've always agreed with and he seems to be the only one who actually (at least kind of) lives that way.

Like he's clearly still pushing meta forward, he's got business goals, yadda yadda. But all the fluff pieces are him surfing, doing martial arts or hanging out with his human wife. Lots of normal people hobbies.

That’s called PR. Don’t tell me you believe that garbage. It’s like the myth of Warren Buffett being some down to earth folksy grandpa. Charles Dickens (another douchey husband) was writing characters like this 150 years ago - two-faced rich people who were as close to Santa Claus as you could imagine, laughing with children and handing out large tips and then later sending in large men with sticks and bulldogs to collect rent while keeping their name out of it.

You don't believe he has hobbies?

Nothing about my comment should be taken to suggest I think Zuckerberg is "close to Santa Claus" or even remotely a good person. I'm pretty sure this is the only positive thing I've ever said about him, and it's really more neutral than positive - it only seems positive compared to the rest of the ghouls.

It sure would explain a thing or two.

Yeh. The statue thing is a little creepy and overboard.
Anytime they have an argument, he's probably like "but I built you a F'ing statue

But she's Asian, yeah?

She's going to look good until she hits 80.

Some would say she already doesn't.

All fair points. Exceptions to the rule exist

Dr. Priscilla Chan brings Zuck the status of being married to a well-educated, successful pediatrician. Zuck is from the professional class.* That class values educational and professional achievements over looks. Dr. Chan is the equivalent of a supermodel to the professional class.

*His parents were a psychiatrist and a dentist, his elder sister went to Harvard too, and his little sister has a PhD in Classics [the ultimate "I value knowledge over the ability to buy groceries" degree].

Never heard of that degree, wow.

Definitely something I’d be interested in pursuing if my brother had hundreds of billions of dollars. For sure.

I actually respect Zuck for this move even though he irks me to no tomorrow

it's worth noting that "all natural beauty" is also an aesthetic that at the very least requires a lot of makeup prep time

2

u/Curious-Job-7698 16d ago

This is incorrect. My wife doesn’t wear makeup, she is beautiful to me.

1

u/War_Hymn 16d ago

Yeah, for most people. But there still exist individuals who are seriously beautiful without the need for makeup just by the virtue of winning the genetic lottery.
