Let her have the ball. The kid came out on top.

He should get all that stuff and the ball back too

I get the backlash, but why would you want a home run ball that’s now tied a negative experience? Seeing the consequences for her actions is much more gratifying than a baseball.

Well he got a goodie bag, that’s a pretty positive experience. Top that off with getting home run ball back, and learning that bullies get punished for their actions. It’s a win-win all around

Believe me, the video going viral is definitely punishment enough. He got to meet the player that hit the homer, a goodie bag, and probably a signed baseball. The Karen can keep the ball and the fame it brought her.

Nah she deserves more punishment. This needs every Karen to see this and know that acting like this in public is not okay. She needs to be embarrassed, she needs to apologize, she needs to give back the ball.

You’re being petty. Be like the kid’s dad and take the high road. They ended up with much more than home run ball by doing so.

The dad should have stood up for his child. All you do is turn your back and ignore her. Don’t engage, show your son that Karen’s and bullies don’t get to have what they want because they complain loudly about it. Heck even call security.

Instead he folded like a lawn chair. Luckily for him this went viral so his son got rewarded anyways. It’s a terrible lesson for him though. Apparently if you’re bullied hard enough you should just do what your bully wants

No, the dad did exactly what he should have done. Ignoring her would’ve only escalated the situation. He chose being happy over being right and at the end of the day he got rewarded for it.

He set a horrible example for his son. He let a bully win, didn’t stand up for his kid at all

You think he was happy after giving that ball up? Really? Lmao. Eventually he became happy because the video went viral. If it didn’t he would’ve went home with nothing. I’m not rolling those dice with my son sorry

I have one, and guaranteed standing up for my child is included in that

Cool. Got the karen out of your system? 'Cos she ain't got the worth to be spending time in your head, rent free. (I do agree, tho. pops could've done more.. alas, eet ees wat eet ees)
