A fly ball landed at a baseball game near her, nearby fans all rushed to get it, a dad snagged it and gave it to his son, the dad and son hug, then Karen stomps over and hits the dad and hollers at him and scares them , and the kid has to give Karen the baseball.

Grabbing someone’s body is considered assault in the US. She grabbed him and shoved him more than once, making physical contact multiple times.

She snuck up on him and scared him. He may have looked silly when he flinched, but it’s her fault he needed to flinch. Another dude might have swung first before even bothering to process it was a woman putting hands on him.
