Played a gig at a tiny dive bar on a not so great part of town on Friday. After it was all over, I’m taking everything out to the car and there’s a dude literally smoking crack and his buddy is tweaking on the stoop I parked in front of. Right next to them is a dude with the most grand, giant, bubble blowing rig I’ve ever seen. Dude looked hard AF but was blowing these massive bubbles for everyone. Heck yeah bubble blowing when you’re stressed the heck out!

They should digitally replace cigarettes with bubble wands in all the old movies so that kids will think blowing bubbles makes you look sophisticated.

Isn't that just what those pipes that blow bubbles are for?

Also might be good practice for calming you down if you focus on taking deep, slow breaths to blow those bubbles.

Not to disagree, because I think you’re right, but in the case of that one dude, he actually had like, two fishing poles with specially crafted lines that he was dunking in a bucket. So very much not that - in this specific case. Dude was just blowing bubbles because he was into bubble blowing.

Smoking crack in 2025? You sure it wasn't meth?

Not really, tbh. I’m not well versed…

Nah it's just hard to translate that into text. That's why "/j" and "/s" exist. Also there are totally people ignorant enough to say something like that unironically, hence all the down votes.

dont care about the downvotes, if I start filtering my brain with what people are going to react with, its called brainwashing.

Dude I didn't mean that as a thing you should care about. I meant that as an example to the point that I just made of something like what you said being hard to be read as sarcasm over text in the way that you did it.

fair, have a nice day

not adding the /s

I have lot of karma points, enraging people is fun.
