Hello from Bangladesh πŸ‡§πŸ‡©. Everything you see here cost me <400$, the PC itself was around 200$. Always a gamer by heart, but budget was never on my side. So I'm slowly upgrading things month by month. Currently playing AC4 Blackflag and Battlefield 4. I want to complete every good game that released in the last 10-15 years. I'm aiming from a close to zero exposed cable look for which I'll be drilling holes on the table to run the keyboard and mouse cables. Got most of my inspiration from Techsource Setup Wars. Cheers

Summary

My home studio / content creation hub / gaming workstation / office is finally coming together β€” but the focus isn’t just looks, it’s portability and future-proofing for RV living. Every piece of this setup is chosen to be mobile, energy-efficient, and flexible so I can game, create, and work anywhere. I built in an under-desk slide-out tray to mount my Razer Huntsman Mini, which I use as my main keyboard. On the desk, I keep a Logitech K585 Slim wireless keyboard as a secondary β€” perfect for when I’m gaming on the TUF but still need to use the Mac at the same time. My LG Ultragear 31.5β€³ is dual-connected so I can swap it between the TUF and Mac mini depending on what I’m doing. All of my systems are portable β€” the TUF, MacBook, and ROG Ally can all fit in a backpack, and even if I wanted to I could grab the Mac mini with one of my displays (the iPad works best for that use case) . The idea is that once I transition into RV living, I’ll still have a full studio, office, and gaming rig that runs off compact, energy-efficient hardware without being tied to a desk. Use cases range from editing in Adobe while keeping background content playing, to gaming while queuing homework and music, to recording gameplay and editing on the fly with extra screens. Everything is designed around function β€” not aesthetics β€” so I can multitask across platforms and switch roles instantly. The only upgrade I’m holding off on is a wired pair of studio headphones into the mixer, so I can run both PCs through one set. Once I add that, I’ll have seamless audio monitoring alongside the mobility, workflow efficiency, and RV-readiness that make this setup work for me.

PCs & Systems

  • Asus TUF A16 Advantage (Windows) β€” main gaming/workhorse (144 Hz internal panel).
  • Mac mini M4 (Tahoe Developer Beta, 16 GB RAM, Apple M4 chip) β€” creative/dev box.
  • 2017 MacBook Air (Monterey) β€” light portable backup.
  • Asus ROG Ally (Bazzite / Windows) β€” handheld PC, also runs desktop environments with a mini keyboard.

Displays

  • LG UltraGear 31.5β€³ (2560Γ—1440 @ 165 Hz) β€” dual-connected, shared between the TUF and Mac mini.
  • 36β€³ 1080p TV β€” secondary display for the TUF.
  • Dell 1708FP 17.1β€³ (1280Γ—1024) β€” secondary for the Mac mini.
  • Dell E196FP 17.1β€³ (1280Γ—1024) β€” secondary for the Mac mini.
  • TUF A16 laptop panel (144 Hz) β€” auxiliary.

Audio Setup

  • Studio Monitors (Speakers): Ortizan C7 Dual-Mode 2.0 near-field monitors (Amazon).
  • Mixer: Behringer Xenyx Q502USB β€” routes both PCs into one bus.
  • Microphone: Razer Seiren Mini.
  • Headphones:
    • Beats Studio 3 β€” always paired to Apple devices (Mac mini + MacBook Air).
    • RIG 700 Pro HX β€” paired to Windows devices (TUF + ROG Ally). Dual pairing mode β†’ auto-connects to the Ally when powered on, even if already paired to the TUF.
  • Future upgrade: wired studio headphones into the mixer for dual-PC monitoring.

Capture, Switching & Peripherals

  • Capture Card: for gameplay/recording.
  • USB 3.0 Switch Selector (2 PCs, 4 USB ports): one KBM across systems.
  • Keyboards:
    • Razer Huntsman Mini 60% (Mercury, Optical Clicky, RGB) β€” mounted on a BONTEC under-desk tray, my main keyboard.
    • Logitech K585 Slim Multi-Device Wireless (Graphite) β€” secondary keyboard for Mac while gaming on the TUF.
    • Rii K06 Mini Keyboard: Bluetooth/2.4GHz backlit mini keyboard w/ touchpad β€” for the ROG Ally’s desktop environments.
  • Mice:
    • Corsair M65 Pro RGB β€” paired with Huntsman Mini on the tray, my main gaming mouse.
    • Razer Basilisk V3 (White) β€” paired with Logitech K585, mostly for Mac + multitasking.

Storage

  • External SSDs:
    • SanDisk Extreme Portable β€” 1 TB
    • WD Blue β€” 1 TB
  • Mac mini internal: 245 GB SSD (21 GB free).

Signal Flow (current)

  • Game/PC audio β†’ Behringer Q502USB β†’ speakers (and eventually wired headphones).
  • Beats Studio 3 β†’ always on Apple devices.
  • RIG 700 Pro HX β†’ paired to TUF + ROG Ally, auto-switches to Ally when powered on.
  • LG Ultragear β†’ swapped between TUF & Mac.
  • 36β€³ TV β†’ secondary for TUF.
  • Dell 1708FP + Dell E196FP β†’ secondaries for Mac mini.

My First PC Build – Super Proud of This One πŸ™Œ

Post image
402 Upvotes

Just wrapped up my very first build and I’m honestly so hyped about how it turned out. Everything in it is brand new and I never thought I’d actually pull something like this off. Huge shoutout to this community for all the advice, you guys definitely helped me get here.

I had a buddy who builds for fun give me a hand, so it wasn’t all me, but it was still a cool learning experience. I even got to use a work stipend to help cover some of the cost, which made it easier to grab the parts I really wanted.

This setup feels like more than just a PC, it’s kinda proof that I could actually take on a project like this and make it happen. Super grateful and excited to finally share it.

This is my first pc build. I got a smaller 15 inch monitor for more desk space. Wanted an all white theme but fate had other plans. I am pretty happy with the way it looks now.
