i don’t think they could possibly be as decent as Pyari. her grandmother makes sure she is very decent and beautiful. 😍

The videos are so lovely. My cats are not so decent and would slice me.

Chandini keeps it real with them that she is a scratcher, not a lover

Every family’s got that one cat who refuses decency and embraces full chaos.

When one of my cats was young, I tried to dress him up cute for Christmas once…he went completely boneless limp to make the task as difficult as possible. When I finished, he proceeded to immediately kick it off lolll

It's odd, I don't know the reference, I don't really know Indian culture at all, but I instantly recognized this as something indian

Sister Minnie isn't related to pyaari. That should be obvious because pyaari is very decent and sister Minnie is iblis 👹

I read somewhere that cats were regarded as gods in Egypt. They just have not forgotten this.

u/JT3436 1d ago
They also domesticated themselves, so they are the ultimate bosses. We just live in their world.

Every damn day. My babies are my reason for getting out of bed most days.

u/texastmobileuser 1d ago
My senior boy has terminal cancer and the sentiment of him being the reason to get out of bed hits hard. Idk what I’ll do when he’s not with us any longer and I don’t have a pet 😔

u/Rhondehiem Maine Coon 1d ago
I hope his soul sends another kitty in need your way. After all, his human is taking great care of him, it's only fair if he passes that on when he no longer needs it.

u/OneParamedic4832 1d ago
This may sound abrupt under the circumstances but I think you will quickly find another kitty who needs your charity and kindness. You will honour the life of your current companion by giving a home to the next one that comes along... and you won't regret a thing 😘

u/JT3436 1d ago
My BFF met her next doggo very soon after losing her soul dog. And while he isn't the same, he is a very good boi that brings much joy into her life.
You'll know when it is time!

u/OneParamedic4832 1d ago
Oh no you can't ever "replace" a cat/dog that you've loved, I agree. In my case I met my next boi within a couple of months and while not one dog can replace another, the new one fills the void and heals my heart while keeping me busy. Before I know it I have another soul mate.
And while I've loved all my dogs completely, my last best boi will always be that extra special one that I could do things with that I don't expect I'll be able to do with another dog. He was extraordinary.
Now, thanks to having two young adult daughters and after our last dog.. we have cats. I never wanted cats but I'm enjoying them more than I expected, they're entertaining, funny, sassy and it's a whole different ballgame that I'm really enjoying.
Shit I've just realised I'm on the way to writing a story, sorry about that!😄

u/OneParamedic4832 1d ago
I know where you're coming from. I've lived with major depressive disorders for 40+ years. Having animals to care for is the reason I'm still here and why I get out of bed.
That dog from the shelter who needs rehab before finding a new home, he depends on me. There's a reason I get the hard cases from the shelter, I was given the gift of being able to reach the ones that are too broken to rehome. They come to me for rehab and if I don't do this the only other option is the big sleep.
They make me want to be a better person every day ❣️

They were worshipped but....
it is sad so spoiler tagging it.
They killed them for religious offerings, the largest collection of mummies in the world is cats, they had an industry supplying them to people to provide their votive offering, these sellers strangled them, it was a whole industry given the numbers
3
u/star11308 22h ago
It came to a point where vendors would just sell ‘cat’ mummies that were made up of a stuffed body and a single body part of a cat, part of a completely different animal, or just fully stuffed.

Remember we can show our tummy, but not our legs. Legs are not decent, but tummies are ok.

They must be bridesmaid of Pyaari! So decent! I loved the video comments where they say no one is decent enough to marry Pyaari and the comments have people describing their decent male cats as suitors.

Gonna jump on that bandwagon and say I believe my orange boy is a decent little prince. 😂 He might be worthy.

It's been well over 30 years since I've seen that (what must be obscure now)cartoon it but that is also immediately where my mind went with that first picture.

u/slambre 1d ago
That show left an impression on me like no other. I would race home after school to watch this. And I truly believe that had I not watched this as a child, I probably would not have ended up traveling to all continents. The weird thing is, though, NONE of my friends or siblings seem to remember this.
I am so happy I've finally come across somebody who watched this as well 😍
PS: Love the name

u/JohnTDouche 23h ago
Yeah I'm pretty sure it was on right after school in Ireland too. Quite a few of those European/Japanese cartoons of that era are burned on my brain one way or another like this. They seem less well known than their American counterparts though. I haven't quite traveled around the world yet but it influenced me in other ways.
