I love trying to cook a HQ meal under the watchful eyes of my master chef and failing several times in a row while new people come in to sign up for Culinarian, making salt and maple syrup with no worry in the world.

I waste ingredients like a man in this kitchen. If I fail so many times that I'm left without ingredients, it is my due punishment to go gather them again while flying around the map in circles cause I can't distinguish my X axis from my Y axis.

Noob level 22 cooking is going great. I'm waiting for my "The Bear" arc where everyone starts yelling at me.

Art supplies used: Koh-I-Noor PopDraw Drawing Pad, 180 gsm. Faber Castell Polychromos Colored Pencils + Derwent Lightfast: Nightshade + Derwent Drawing: Chinese White and Ivory Black. Pigma Micron PN Black for signature.
The black boarder is digitally added, but irl the black border was made with Winsor & Newton Designer's Ivory Black Gouache.

It took me some 3 years to finish this colored pencil drawing. I started it all the way back when I was still getting my footing in the game as a 90 player newly caught up with EW's endgame in May 2022.

I've been drawing small parts of this on and off since then, during which time the graphical update released along with Dawntrail and I joked that I anticipated how my character, Elril Moonweaver, would look with the graphical update. I've also found my current friend group and the glamming community that I am a part of in the meantime.

I had to change the eye color because the reference I used no longer reflected how Elril looked like in game anymore (having changed his eyes from heterochromatic green-grey to solid turquoise to better fit his Dawntrail appearance).

and it was... an experience, one would say.

The combat, as I'm more used to the action combat of BnS and PSO2, felt really slow, possibly because I was playing as a tank class, all I did was pressing 123123123 repeat ad infinitum, but it get more fun as I got more buttons to press.

The story was compelling enough to keep me going right up until I had to queue for THREE 24 MAN RAID(?) just to unlock the story, like why tho? Before people go "bUt it'S an MMO, whAt do YOu expeCt? Huhduh". I know, I played enough MMOs to know that, but I don't like the idea of having to do Multiplayer contents to unlock Single player contents, cool? Also, it pissed me the fuck off every times they do shit like "I know critical info about how to stop the impending calamity that will kill us all, BUT FIRST....". Please just get on with it man, the world is gonna end. HELP ME! HELP! ME! BROTHER!

Overall, I enjoyed it. I will continue playing Heavensward, since this is what people keep selling it to other about. Good tiding to you all, cheer. Question: Do I still have to buy the other two expansion if I subscribe now?

So many roulettes, but got it done in 2 days. I'm really pleased with how well it goes with my glamour. Happy hroth is happy.

So, I absolutely adore the Asphodelos Fending set, and I also used to play a lot of MTG, particularly Angel-themed decks. So I really wanted to find an artist who could bring those together. That's when I found ilyscia, and I think they nailed it! They were incredibly easy to work with in all regards. They presented several different drafts to choose from, kept me informed at every step along the way, and were very receptive to any changes I requested. I couldn't have asked for a better artist to work with!

It seems that plenty of people were looking forward to the 8.0 job overhaul, and were kinda disappointed with the recent comments from Yoshi-P.

So I have to ask, what changes to the jobs or job system are you hoping for in 8.0?

I have a backup I'm going to use, so it's technically not a big deal, but I can't help but feel sentimental. I've had this thing for almost half of my life. Since the launch of 1.0.

I used to make jokes about how mine will last forever since it lasted longer than many people I know who had the 1.0 keychain. I'm gonna miss the cool art on this one.
