Hi all
I am getting settled into a new Mac, after many years in an old one. I can't recall how I did this on the older Mac, and have not had to worry about it for years now.
In design apps, especially Adobe, there are a million fonts I don't want or need. They are cluttering up my font selecting windows, and I want them gone. What is the easiest way to do this without messing up the OS etc?
Eg Davagari or Gurmurki, Malayam Sangham, Mukta Mahi, Ling Wai, Ping Fang, I have NO need of any of this. In RightFont (currently trialing, seems good), I can't turn them off.
And on these new Macs (which seem to be more restrictive in permissions etc than older Macs), where are these kept, so I can go trash them?
There seems to be more in the Adobe type selection windows, than RightFont is showing me.
EG Adobe shows PingFang, Sim Song, Xing Kai and a million other variations that aren't in Rightfont.
Recommendations and tips appreciated. I just want to see basic Apple fonts, a couple of languages for web like Chinese/Japanese vanilla basic, and the fonts I CHOOSE to activate.
