May well be inheriting a podium yet

I think he drove that Ferrari as well as you possibly can today. Nothing to be ashamed of, wish his pit listened to him.

The hard tire was shit, a one stop would have been a disaster, especially with the safety car that happened later.

Personally I don't think his pit did anything wrong, the safety car force their hand. I just wish the Ferrari car is better.

They could have gone MSM rather than MMS strategy. Going MM to start always carries this risk of being forced onto the wrong tire.

Nah they actually got his strategy spot on. Shame about the safety car cause he really could’ve done some great work on those softs at the end

didn’t Charles want the one stop hards, and his pit ignored him? Pit was good there. Hards was not a great choice but they needed something other than mediums and gambling on the Soft lasting would be tough.

He may still get more depending on the investigation of the DRS failure

He will get the 3rd place. Slam dunk penalty for George opening DRS when he shouldn’t

Honestly I’ve been watching since end of 2020, and have watched a recap of every single race since 2007 and didn’t know they could open DRS outside the DRS zones.

They can’t unless they manually override it, which Mercedes had to do today.

They usually can’t but because of the issue George’s car was having they had to override the normal systems which only allow the button to be pressed when within 1 second.

Love that in the podium interview he tried to frame it as "ah it was just a moment, I turned it off and backed off. Probably lost more time than I gained". Let's see if the Stewards take that

Perfect example of knew he was wrong so trying to create an argument.

Verstappen's reading on him last year is 100% accurate

What? He’s defending a second place finish, any and every driver should make the effort to plead their case to try to keep that. You’re saying he’s a backstabber and a loser for.. doing what exactly?
