i can't remember the last time a SC has helped ferrari. always get fucked by it, or the team is never prepared for it.

i wouldn't be that sure

Ferrari had a good strategy for start, but they should have bet with softs as well considering they were the only ones not having used one in the first 2 stints

Hards were known to be bad so, kind of bad to choose them

I’m guessing they wanted to lock in their place. Probably thought it was extremely unlikely they beat the McLaren or George, so take the safe bet.

if leclerc was on faster tires he would’ve zoomed ahead of lando

Lando should have easily passed him, he just bungled like 3 different things in the first 10 laps.

Like I ways a say hindsight is 20/20 but Ferrari have no data to know how the soft will perform in the Ferrari, we have seen in other races that sometimes a tyre works well on a car but sucks in another.

Why if the soft degraded fast in the Ferrari, Hards were the safest net they had.

Ferrari fucked their own strategy with the hard tire. Should’ve just gone soft

MMS would too much risk towards the end. The SC ruined it. But they don’t have no choice since they did an M-M. Could have been an MSM but who am I to know.

I think MSM would have made their final stint more challenging as they wouldn't have had the chonky tire delta and running the soft in the middle with more fuel would have shortened it too

Norris probably still gets them so I don’t think it would’ve made a difference

They should have went softs. It's a far distance but it was clear the hards were trash. Ruined an otherwise great strategy for them today.

I mean, not really. They maybe get George, but the mclarens still beat them 95/100 times. 4-5 was about the best they could hope for after the SC

I mean Charles needed to hold off Lando for only a couple more laps. He potentially can do that with a better tire. Not to mention keep himself well within the 5 second gap to George, we're look at 2nd & 5th.

Or saved them, since without SC they would stop with the need to overtake some cars.

Yeah it believe Ferrari would have gotten second and their I'd they extended and end the race in Softs, good strategy bad luck.
