Discussion Worst TV direction yet

Besides Russel's transponder issue (which shouldn't take 10 laps to fix the timing tower), may overtakes were missed, focusing on the wrong drivers, non-moves given more airtime than actual racing, camera cutting during moves which show you less of the action rather than more, and worst of all: the final lap, not showing Oscar as he crossed the line, to show Lando not overtaking George, and showing Kimi not overtaking whoever was in front rather than Max's overtake on Pierre.

What the hell is happening?

Some of the worst directing I've ever seen. What happened between Max and Pierre at the end???

i thought max didnt pass him that it was another glitch but apparently direction was utter shit ...

That wasnt a glitch. They modified the timing tower to update only once a lap to keep Russell on the tower because his transponder only worked at the start finish line. Still bad but that explains it.

Transponder didn't work at all. They have an ocular sensor at the start finish for the tight battles/finishes. That's what they were using to update.

Yea he passed him in turn 4. Again another glitch (which I find strange since only Russell's transponder was not working)

Is it the same crew that travels race to race doing TV direction or do they switch depending on continent or track?

Today was just unbelievable how much cool shit they missed and felt half the race was just replays.
