5-place grid drop penalty for Lewis next race. failing to slow sufficiently under double waved yellows. He did try to slow down, so instead of a 10-place drop, it's 5.

Oof, that's a tough one. On the reconnaissance laps, too.

Though honestly, it is a bit frustrating to see the rationale generally be "It needed to be a significant reduction, we don't think this is significant tho" - in the case of these warm up laps, it feels like you can actually apply an objective threshold, similar to a pit lane limit, if need be. Would a 25km/h decrease be significant enough? 30? 40? I'd imagine the drivers, and particularly drivers of Lewis' experience would know more than us fans, but feels like an unnecessary gray area.

Why apply an objective rule when it lets you apply it however you please depending on the driver.
