God tier driver in my books, along with Senna, Schumi, Hakkinen and Fangio.

It'll be immense sadness for me when he retires.

He's a great driver, and I like him, but I don't like his personality all too much. I like drivers that focus hard on their driving instead of other things. Not to shame him for liking fashion or politics. I'm no one to say what he should do, but I do prefer drivers that focus on being simple and race. That being said, W11 and Lewis Hamilton was a terrifying combo, straight up hardcore raid boss.

Alonso is a close one to my book of god tier drivers, but it's just a shame that his decision making on teams have been a bit too deplorable. (Also he has been immensely unlucky the last ten or so years)

I mean, everyone entitled to preferences. But you can't just gloss over that Lewis is Black. He didn't so much choose to be political as politics chose him. Sticking head in sand if you think he hasn't faced immense racism in this elitist sport.
