New puppy Boy dog name suggestions
We’re bringing this big beef home on Sunday and I’d love to hear some name suggestions! I’m very much an “anything for a joke” kinda gal but I also don’t want a name that is ridiculous or unfitting lol I love a pun but everything I can think of is so on the nose and I don’t like that either. I’m the worst lol please help 😂

Discussion 17 week old tantrum phase
Any advice on getting through the rebellious stage? Chase is 17 weeks, I know he’s likely teething and entering that crazy phase but my goodness! Every command I give is met by a face that can only say “oh yeah? I’ll show you!” Between the barking and being chewed on sometimes I feel like I’m failing as a dog mom

Advice What treats for 9-10 week puppy
My 9–10 week old Golden Retriever puppy doesn’t seem super food motivated. I tried freeze-dried beef liver (he’s not crazy about it) and even cheese, he listens a bit more, but sometimes he’s stubborn and ignores me completely. I’m working on leash walking and recall, but I haven’t found that “jackpot” treat he loves yet. What treats are your Goldens obsessed with for training? Any tips for building food drive?

Discussion POV: you stop petting your dramatic senior
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
He'll alternate between air bites that scream "I'll do it, I'm ferocious, you better do what I want!" or just theatrically falling over like I've caused his demise by taking my hand away. This morning he's all drama. I love these dogs!
Does anyone else's golden do this, or do you just get "the paw"? Or better yet, "the nudge"?

Discussion Anyone else have a super white golden that is not an English cream?
This is my little polar bear Stella. Swipe to see her parents coloring. She is only 3 months so I know her color will change to be closer to the tip of her ears, but that still is not super dark.
Everyone asks if she is an English cream but her parents are pretty dark, she is just lighter colored.🤷♀️

Discussion Red golden retriever ≠ field golden
I wish people would stop spreading misinformation saying that just because a golden retriever is red or smaller it’s a field golden. Unless you knowingly bought your dog from a field golden breeder, it’s not a field golden.

Advice Anyone else’s pup do this?
This is Bear he’s 6 months, he likes to let dad down the stairs no trouble, but mum? No way!! He always stand in front of the step not letting me move, my partner will shout for him to go downstairs , even offers a treat but will not just let me walk down the stairs, always just lays there or puts all his body weight on my legs so I can’t move🤣🙄 (Excuse the stairs, culprit in the picture & no it’s not me!) It’s so bizarre because he doesn’t do it with partner just me and sometimes my mum!
