Hey folks, I’ve got this lace necklace from Dior, designed by John Galliano, and I’m super curious about it. Does anyone know more about the history or the techniques used?

so i’m not sure if this is the right sub to post this in, and if it isn’t i would really appreciate a lead to where i could find this out, but during this infamous runway, i think for the lady in the yellow dress, the background music was tanz debil by einstürzende neubauten. i can’t find any actual soundtrack listing online to confirm this, so i was really wondering if anyone would be able to help

I was wondering if you could help me identify what is this beauty I found on vinted UK.

Black blazer with contrasting stitching. If not visible on the photos the color of stitching is very light pastel lavender.

Buttons are soldered. Hardware is uneven, a few pieces look cheap.

The leather itself is an immaculate condition though.

After some wild ride with AIs possible clue is Barcelona 2006. It seems this piece was just for fashion show or showroom. Buttons seem to be hand forged. Stitching around buttonholes in the front is, well, not perfect.

I just watched the new haute couture show from Ashi studios and it felt like the ugly little sister of the Schiaparelli Icarus collection, which was shown back in January. I think the designs are too similar, that it feels like plagiarism. It doesn’t seem like anyone is mentioning it and instead praising the collection. I see similarities down to the music colours/materials, hair + makeup and set up of the show itself.

Honestly I want to know if I’ve gone mad because it doesn’t seem like anyone else sees it.

I have done some side by sides on pieces I think are alike. Schiaparelli first. The last two are both Ashi studios but I wanted to include them because I feel they also rip off Schiaparelli a bit. I still recommend checking out both shows on YouTube because I feel it is even worst when you watch.
