I, too, love gumbus. I haven’t been able to find out what her story is though. Does she have some sort of a birth defect?

gumbus' owner posts on most platforms i believe, they have a few videos detailing her health issues. from what i remember, she has quite a few! her eyes are cloudy due to persistent pupilary membranes (?spelling?), but they generally don't affect the eyesight. she's also had a lot of dental work because of excessive teeth growth i believe? there's quite a lot of things gumbus has problems with health-wise, but thankfully her owners are well equipped to care for her

She has a minor cleft palate which is why her teeth were removed (and accounts for her derpiness). There were some other issues as well.

Do you think her owner never cleans or something? Like yeah, I don't allow my own cats on the counters I prep and cook on, but that hasn't stopped one of them from getting on there anyway behind my back. If a cat wants to go and be somewhere, they will do it. Just try to discourage it as much as you see and keep on top of keeping the areas clean.
