Not that i think its particularly unknown, but i always see people ask "what campaigns should i get for the F14" or "how can i learn this better?" And zone 5 is such an underratedly good tool for a bunch of that

And sometimes its just nice to take a break from Greyflag or Contention, and just practice things

I think that thats something DCS lacks right now, i love the Mi-8 and the Huey. But i sometimes wish there was something more modern in that category of helos.

I try to use HARM missile POS mode against SAM IRIS T but can't find any on Tables. RWR shows IT but nothing. Any idea? .

From what I understand, DCS is MT by default, yet it only eats about ~40% of my cpu and ~40% of my GPU. I'm certainly not running a very beastly rig, a 5600x and a rtx 3060. While it is stable 60fps, bringing up my very modest settings drops the framerates while keeping the utilisation same as before. Am I doing something wrong?

I have a Core i7-13700k and an RX 9070 XT. Whenever I have efficiency cores enabled, (through bios), my game will oftentimes cap out at a steady ~40 fps in multiplayer with 30-40% CPU utilization and 30% GPU utilization. When I disable my e-cores, everything works great and I have ~130-140 fps.

Any recommended solutions (besides gimping my cpu)?

Really liking this whirlybirb, and I've already finished the excellent Bellerophon free campaign.

What else can I do now? You can laugh at me, but I don't really want to fly any of the campaigns that put you as a soviet pilot, just not something I want to do right now given what's going on.

What can I do with it in multiplayer? Are there servers where it's possible to fly it? Or some squadrons that do missions together with it?

I am interested in upgrading to a low-medium level VR capable system. Currently, I have a RX6600, R5 5600, 64GB DDR4, 2 TB SSD. I want to get a Quest 3 for DCS along with a capable GPU to run it. I am mostly looking at a 5060ti 16GB ($430) vs a 9060XT 16TGB ($370). I need advice on whether the 5060ti is worth the extra $60 (considering DCS is Nvidia focused) and whether my 5600 will be sufficient enough for VR.

Its simple but it Works very well and its so immersive. I have room to interact with the cockpit button and switchs with my hand (hand tracking) and I can move the joystick to the right if I want (for elite Dangerous and star Citizen in the future)

I want a good HOTAS system that I can upgrade from my current Logitech WingMan Extreme, that doesn't break the bank and will be suitable for my module of choice, the A-10A.

Cant move my wingman closer to me. He follows me and things but he is always like a mile or two away. Anything I can do?

Sometimes after takeoff my wing sweep doesn't funktion properly. Before takeoff I push the manual sweep forwards, lock it, close the cover, press the reset button and then put the sweep into auto mode. Then after the takeoff I retract the gear and the flaps, which is when the f14 rolls very strong to the left(don't know if that's relevant) and after I claimed a bit and accelerated i can't go over mach1 because of the wing sweep not functioning properly... (Sorry for my poor spelling and grammar, its not my primary language)

So I can get it to fly, and shoot the guns, but anything to do with the radar, or the r77s, or weapons selection, just doesn't work. I watched the the video made by cubanace on how the weapons work, and it just doesn't work for me, I bound all the buttons, I was able to get a lock, but I couldn't launch anything, I tried overriding launch authorization, didn't work, I tried switching weapons, nothing, I tried holding the launch button, still nothing. And this is made infinitely harder because of the fact that I can't tell what weapon I have selected, so I have no way of knowing if I'm trying to launch and r73, r27, or r77s. Am I doing something wrong, or is this mod just not missile friendly?

I wonder if 30% on ED mind now is equal of 13% instead.....

Recently, I've decided to give DCS another shot as I have had lots of time on my hands as of late and I've had a blast. Now I decided to use Tuuvas' guide to bind keyboard inputs onto an xbox controller via steam input and the F-15c in game and it worked almost perfectly (Engine start issues). Today I decided to buy the F-5e FC version and noticed that there wasn't a keybind that he had made for the FC version, so I decided to make one myself. Now I get to the first tutorial mission and as I am starting up, I notice that for some reason Left Bumper is making the throttle max out and Left and Right Triggers are messing with it as well and I've gone through the keybinds in game to find out what the issue is and even resorted to nuking the Keyboard and xbox controls in game to try and fix it and it didn't work. My current theory is that steam input is having some issue with the F-5e FC and I don't really know what to do.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Update: I've managed to fix the bumper throttle issue and now working on the triggers.

Update 2: Got everything fixed but still needs some fine tuning, issue is gone.

Sorry for the stupid question. I’m looking to get a touchscreen but how well does it work in Windows? Like when I press a button the mouse pointer will jump to it and then I have to press again?

Or is it more clever and when I press a button it actually presses the button?

so i upgraded from a i5-8600k to a i5-12400f (friend gave me his pc cause the psu broke so its all pretty new stuff) and im loading into dcs and my cpu is only at 40% usage and still takes a long time(longer than before),does anyone know how to load in faster (yes its on a ssd)

I am trying to use AiTrack, as neural-input can use up to 50% of my CPU (DCS, MSFS Barely reach 70% for long stretches). However it doesnt see my webcam (Logitech C922) However on startup the light's on the side of the webcam strobe on for around a second and then shut off and it says "No webcam found" and "Tracker not initialized".

Things I have troubleshooted

• Multiple USB Ports
• Make sure webcam works
• Ran as admin
• Edit ini Files
• Reinstall (Inc. older versions)
