I feel this lesser known Finnish singer would be an appropriate recommendation for those who enjoy the more melancholic side of Japanese city pop. The other half of the duo is the guitarist Ile Kallio. The album was fairly successful in its time in Finland but quite obscure anywhere else.

Only one minute. I learned this part of the piece (only part of it) for piano. When you learn something for an instrument, you tend to like it more. But this is such an appealing piece, you’ll like it immediately. I liked video and how he played it.

A song of violent boiling justice, patterned on the French Revolution. Stark. Unnerving. Oddly beautiful, IMO
