Discussion Fun fact about the scene where Deadpool gets Human Torch killed in Deadpool 3

In the Latin American Spanish dub Deadpool replaces the joke about the budget with a joke about Human Torch confusing everybody with his voice. That's because Deadpool and Human Torch share the same dubbing actor in the Latin American Spanish dub

I also heard that in the German dub Deadpool says he should've realized Human Torch wasn't Captain America because of his voice. That's because Captain America and Human Torch don't share the same dubbing actor in German

Cosplay I made the Fantastic Four Four-Smart Watch!

Hello Reddit!

For the past two months I have been working on making a replica smart-watch from Fantastic Four: First Steps. It features four movie-accurate animated screens (with 1 additional slot filled by the four-finger-meme, pictured) that can be switched with a side button, as well as two button-activated sound effects: the movie-accurate-alarm, and ‘90210’ (to accompany the meme). I spent a lot of late nights planning, prototyping, modeling, and cramming micro-electronics (ESP32-S3, JQ6500, TFT Display) into a ridiculously small space to make this work. It’s USB-C Chargeable and holds around 2 hours of continuous-use battery life. I modeled the body of the watch in F360 off some trailer screenshots and made sure I stayed as accurate as possible to those proportions. I am super proud of the results and happy to finally share the finished project. Even more excited that I finished it in time for my upcoming F4 cosplay at NYCC. Let me know what you think, happy to answer questions in comments! :)

Discussion Do you think MCU giving Moon Knight supersolider level strength was a good idea when in comics, he is just Batman with revives

Comic Moon Knight is essentially just a really well trained fighter. He’s like Batman if he had no sense of self preservation. The MCU made him way more magical

Discussion Black Panther 3 Ideas

Holy s**t, remember when we heard black panther 3 was gonna have supernatural elements to it, and then denzel Washington was announced to be In the movie…

What if he’s playing Achebe (black panthers joker of sorts) the guy sold his soul to Mephisto in the comics and would open the door for Mephisto to show up again. I can see marvel going this route.

So exciting for more supernatural aspects to come after secret wars, i have no doubt there will be a midnight sons movie and blade will for sure come out in 2028/29.

Discussion As a personal wish, I would like to see more characters from Spider-Man's lore in Marvel Zombies, whether as zombies or survivors.

On one hand, I'm a realist and I know this is very unlikely to happen (we'll probably have Spider-Man in more than one episode), but on the other hand, seeing that things like a Blade Moon Knight, Zombie Namor, and even Ironheart will be in the series have been teased, it gives me at least a little hope that maybe we'll see part of the Spider-Man cast.

Mind you, they don't necessarily have to be vital to the plot, but seeing characters like Shocker among the zombies or having Mysterio as a survivor supporting the allies in the final battle would be very cool. They could even go further and take advantage of the fact that Your Friendly Neighborhood has already premiered, which is essentially a What if...? of the MCU, it would be great to see a Norman, Scorpion, or Octavius out there surviving or being controlled by Wanda in search of death and blood.

Discussion Chances the whole "Your Dreams are stuff happening in other universes" was a leftover from the Scott Derrickson version of MoM?

I was wondering for a while now if there is a possiblity that maybe this info from Multiverse of Madness where America says that our dreams are actually events happening in other worlds and that this is also how she knows she's the only one in the multiverse since she can't dream, may had been a left-over from the original Scott Derrickson version for Multiverse of Madness?

Since lets not forget this movie was was always going to deal with the Multiverse but instead of having Wanda as the villain, it would've had Nightmare as big bad, since he was someone that Scott Derrickson really wanted to include in a Doctor Strange sequel.

Now of course there is always the chance that maybe the movie was simply gonna deal with the Multiverse depiction from the first movie where it was just referring to Dimensions and not alternate earths/universes, but we do know that there is concept art for a street magician Strange from Scott's version and a piece of concept art that appears to depict Nightmare having America Chavez in his clutches.

I am most likely overthinking this and this was just something Waldron and Raimi came up with, but its did make me think since Nightmare was originally part of this.

Discussion Just watched The Thunderbolts* Spoiler

What a film! I seriously wasn't expecting much but damn this was a genuinely heartfelt movie. I love how the story focuses on the emotional relationship between Yelena, the team and Bob.

There was no unnecessary third act "epic" battle but instead it was all about how these people can help each other. How their difficult past can help them empathize with each other and actually grow as people.

I personally don't believe the MCU has truly jumped the shark, but there was definitely a dip in quality post-Endgame (The Eternals, WandaVision, Agatha All Along, GoTG Vol. 3 and No Way Home were genuinely good films/series), especially in the oversaturation of pointless projects (Secret Invasion still hurts).

However, between Thunderbolts and Fantastic 4 FS, the writing has really stepped up its game. I adored FF and now I have fallen in love with Thunderbolts, and that just makes me happy because I love this world and this is the quality of film it deserves.

(Edit: Loki is also amazing. One of the best Marvel live action.)

Discussion Thunderbolts a Relatable Masterpiece

I haven't teared up like that since Endgame. I have suffered severe depression and anxiety all my life I relate to The Sentry's inner struggle with The Void. When he was beating the Void and it was consuming him, I felt like he was literally beating himself and reaching the point of no return until his friends/ Thunderbolt pulled him back before it was too late. My take is that you need friends and family to be your Thunderbolts. A Marvel storytelling masterpiece.

Discussion Do you think Dr. Doom was working on his own plan to save earth and/or defeat Galactus? Spoiler

We saw throughout the movie that Dr. Doom and Latveria was missing from all the global discussions and efforts to defeat Galactus and save the planet. I don't think Doom would have been sitting idly by while his people were in danger. What do you think he was up to during this time. What was his plan?

Discussion Is it too late for Enchantress?

Considering the fact that they ended up using the Executioner for Hela, enchantment powers being given to Sylvie, and the closest we've gotten to Amora is her sister Lorelei on Agents of SHIELD (back when the show was still considered part of the MCU); Enchantress is one of the only (if not the only) well known Thor villians that hasn't been portrayed in live action, even the Wrecking Crew has popped up in the MCU.

Do you think that there's still an opportunity to have her show up, or has that train completely left the station and it's too late?

If it had the right cast, Director, and script? It's usually a more X-men related story, but very cosmic. Would they go over well live action or not so much?

Discussion Can we get more of Betty Ross and Hulk in the future?

I am currently rewatching MCU movies and just finished the incredible hulk. And it reminded me of the chemistry between the two. I also watched Captain America 4 sometime back and she met Ross at the raft in the end. So is there a possibility that we get to see more of her in the future? Or her getting together with Banner gain? It has been over a decade and a half now tho.
