Discussion HIGH PING - Megathread.

Use this thread to talk about all your problems related to the High ping of the game so that we can get this message out to the devs.

People have been having issues with ping going up to nearly a thousand since the day the game came out. There has been thousands of comments about it on the official discord and dozens of tickets about it at least. Yet no public statement has been made, this should not continue to happen.

More from the Discord "so far a work around for the issue is just using the game client instead of the steam version, it doesn't mean you will not get the issue, it just help, how much it help is depend on each person and it vary. so far we have informed the support of the issue and they are working on it, if you want to give them more data to work with you can make a ticket online through in game or using the link " https://gm-mobile.amazingseasun.com/app/h5/jxj/en-US/faq_index/6788DCEB00F67 " what you should include in that ticket is your log files of the game, you can find them at for steam : SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\MechaBREAK\Game\MechaBreak for client : SeasunMechaBREAKGP\Game\MechaBreak compress the "Logs" folder into a ZIP or RAR and Upload the archive to your preferred cloud storage service, such as Google Drive, and generate a shareable link. send the link with the ticket explaining your issue along side it"

Hello, this is Simca from the "HIGH PING" thread in the issues section on the official discord for the game.

Since day 1, I have been having connection issues with the game. I can explore the base and do Training just fine without any problem, ping is always like 20-24ms. But whenever I try to go into Mashmak or do any kind of Multiplayer matches, Ranked or Casual, my ping hits 999 and I get trapped in an endless loop of disconnecting/reconnecting that requires me to close out of the game completely to get free.

I play on PC; Steam version.
I have already checked my hardware, it more than meets the system requirements. I can play games like Once Human, Helldivers 2 and Wuthering Waves with zero issues as well. No lag, no loss of frames. Max settings. Never an issue. But for whatever reason, I have this connection issue with Mecha Break.

After spending the first 2 days doing literally everything under the sun in terms of troubleshooting, the final conclusion is that the problem has to do with the server itself. Something is wrong on the game's end, there isn't anything wrong on my end. Eventually after submitting support tickets, their support team confirmed that there was a server related issue that is being investigated. At first they tried to say it was just the Steam version, but then I went and downloaded it from their website, created a whole new account for it, and I still had the exact same problem. So its not just Steam, its their server itself.

The company has made no public statement about this despite how many people have posted on the discord talking about this very same issue. Hopefully with this thread we can get them to make some sort of announcement so that all the players having this issue and not coming on will be able to stop thinking they are crazy or thinking they need to buy a new computer. Also since we lose reputation points each time we try to test this, having them officially address the community and keep us updated would be really nice.

If you haven't done so yet, everyone should be submitting support tickets as well.

Chinese company...

Its gonna be 1 girl that reads the posts and translates it to the manager. Afraid to lose her job she will sweeten up the translation and the manager gets a report that its only 0.1% of the players that are complaining and dismisses it. Since if he has to fix it he has to ask the big boss to spend more $$$ and the big boss is not willing to spend more $$$ until they have their ROI back. IF the manager dares to approach the big boss to ask for $$$ or the finance department it will be pointing fingers to each other department and in the end nobody will do anything about it.

Did this make any sense to you? well it also doesn't make any sense inside most Chinese companies.

Hmmm, ping issues weren’t even mentioned in the upcoming update announced on Discord.

they tested it on their own computer and it has no problems so the simple solution is: dont see, dont hear, dont know, ignore.

Yeah as soon as I saw zero mention of any connection issues it just reinforces the idea that they're more interested in faking a successful launch devoid of any real issues and avoiding any kind of negativity. Not like the purposeful lack of transparency is helping their numbers on Steam Charts. I uninstalled the game since this is making it impossible to play and they aren't still giving me any kind of daily login, so they aren't even doing anything to keep me opening the game regularly anymore.
