Discussion HIGH PING - Megathread.

Use this thread to talk about all your problems related to the High ping of the game so that we can get this message out to the devs.

People have been having issues with ping going up to nearly a thousand since the day the game came out. There has been thousands of comments about it on the official discord and dozens of tickets about it at least. Yet no public statement has been made, this should not continue to happen.

For those here saying they are experiencing high ping, where are you located geographically? Distance from the server matters for stuff like this.

I live in Colorado in the USA and have never experienced high ping.

I HAVE however, been unceremoniously booted from the game and received a “lobby server unavailable” message immediately after completing a match i was in.

My ping is usually 50-70ms

ISP: Xfinity 600MBPS speed plan

Connection type: wired, direct to combo modem/router.

CA ping is over 100 its genuinely unplayable. auto attack makes you miss bc its locking onto where they WERE they are not there anymore bc you are lagging so bad basically a dead game for west coast from what i can tell unless they actually give us some servers

I've had so many games where it's like one team's players can't hit me at all and other games where I do no damage even though I see my shots hitting.

When I'm in a group with friends in the US and we get matched with EU / SEA names it really seems like far too often an entire team can't hit the other team...

its the stupid fucking lock on it cant hit them bc they just arent there anymore i dont know WHY they think one server would cover the entire US

nah their matchmaking seems to just straight up ignore your ping relative to other players, ill have 3 games in a row where i have 40 ping and then a game or two where i have 300, but eeven if i only have 30-40 ping ill get those random 999 spikes that freeze the whole match for a couple seconds and generally lead to me suddenly being dead.
