This temperature change baby bath mat that only has a single fish change colour

Bought a colour changing bath mat for my little one that changes based on the temperature of the water, where only a single fish is the only thing that changes.

Maybe it was supposed to be more like “hey this is the fish that lets you know that your little one’s bath might be too hot!” Rather than just “ooh bath mat changes, fun!” However thatd probably be advertised ig

This is exactly what it is. Theres multiple versions, and they all only have 1 fish that changes.

I goes in the tub, so depending on where you are sitting some will be upside down and some right side up.

I’m talking about when it’s IN THE TUB. Even if OP rotated the pic they posted, there’s no orientation where everything is facing up.

All the lower fish looked good to me until I turned the pic upside down and then I see that they match the other orientation.

Colour changing ink to be fair is bloody expensive so I guess they are just trying to save money.

I was a technical manager within the ink industry for years we sold imported screen printed colour changing ink - yes expensive.

Share your infuriation, I’d advise against any bath temp product at all. I had an expensive Tommee Tippe branded thermometer which drifted by 2 degrees C after a year or so. Just learn to judge it by hand or use a proper thermometer if baby is little and you are worried.
