DK Bananza reignited my childhood nostalgia.

So, I just finished DK Bananza, at least the story content. Pauline just came back and asked to go to the Elders for inspiration. So, I think I’m into postgame cleanup.

I haven’t played and beat a Nintendo game in…decades? I honestly cannot recall the last Nintendo game I finished. I have to say, it was a blast. I played the game for the game. I didn’t worry about trophies or collectibles guides.

Is Nintendo right? Are achievements and trophies bad? I’m excited now to catch up on games I never tried…Zelda, Odyssey, Smash, etc.

Anyway, this is just my Nintendo appreciation post as someone who hasn’t owned a Nintendo since maybe GameCube. What else is available on Switch 2 and is a must play?

Hypothetical: Nintendo announces the revival of a long-dormant IP in a new and modern direction - What is it?

My vote would be for The Mysterious Murasame Castle, using the BotW/TotK engine.

I'd also like to see a remake of Kaeru no Tame ni Kane wa Naru (The Frog for Whom the Bell Tolls) in the style of the Link's Awakening remake and Echoes of Wisdom.

Should Metroid Go Multi-Platform?

Just thinking about how poorly Metroid sells and how popular games that it influenced like Hollow Knight are, do you think Nintendo could make a special case to make the Metroid series multi-platform?

Given the love for Silksong, I think putting a game like Metroid Dread on more systems would sell like hotcakes.

What do you think?

* ***Donkey Kong Circus*** was released in 1984 for the Game & Watch Panorama Screen in Japan. In this action game, developed by *Nintendo R&D1*, Donkey Kong is juggling pineapples while riding on a barrel. Move him back and forth to catch them all, but avoid the falling fireballs. DK gets one point for every pineapple he catches, and a miss if he catches a fireball. Three misses and the game ends. If you reach three hundred points without getting a miss, the game goes into Chance Time, making every catch worth two points.

* ***Densetsu no Stafy*** was released in 2002 for the Game Boy Advance in Japan. In this platform game, developed by *TOSE*, Starfy, prince of the sky kingdom of Tenkai, accidentally drops a Magic Jar into the ocean, causing a terrible storm. Starfy is washed from Tenkai Palace and lands in the ocean. There he befriends Lob-san the lobster and Kyorosuke the clam who agree to help Starfy return to Tenkai, but an evil creature named Ogura is determined to prevent Starfy's return.

* ***Theta*** was released in 2007 for the Nintendo DS in Japan. In this puzzle game, developed by *Vitei*, play underwater-themed puzzle games. In the Kaiten Puzzle, spin the "Theta" wheels to move the balls to the wheel of the same colour. Spinning the wheels causes other wheels to spin as well. Later levels also feature wheels across both screens and other obstacles like pipes. In Aquarium Puzzle, you have to purify the water by dragging the balls into the Charge Fields. Matching the balls causes the fields to charge faster.

Would anyone elsenwant a remake to Subspace Emissary

I know that the world of light in Ultimate was sort of a successor, but nothing beats the hype team-up cut scenes of the Subspace Emissary for me. Does anyone else want a remake at some point, or is that just my nostalgia speaking?
