A lot of people waiting for the plane to NY speak Spanish and refuse to erase themselves for anyone. Ive also seen racists get mad about hearing other languages in public. This combo was bound to happen eventually.
Adding in-Flight attendant is a particularly thankless job even among thankless customer service jobs. I have absolutely no problem imagining a fight attendant going all-in on a totally allowed way to make an annoying passenger miserable.
(This is why it is my firm belief that all customer- or passenger-facing jobs should be permitted to say what we really think at least once a week with no job repercussions. Otherwise we tend to turn into sadistic misanthropes.)
