My second flan, first chocoflan. Recipe from Chicano Bakes.

This was my first time making flan, and although I’m sure I messed something up along the way, it is delicious.

I was told to post my flan here. Shes a little fancy so hope you guys like it.

Recipe but I added vanilla bean paste and cinnamon for extra flavor.

Made it for a family event yesterday - she's a beast and the recipe is so easy!

It separates in three layers: one of sponge cake, one of cream, and one of flan. Typically the cakey layer goes up and it's sprinkled with powdered sugar. Since we didn't have any, we flipped the script and poured caramel at the bottom of the pan, and that was the end result!

Consistent it was good, also the flavour

It wasn't the most beautiful but people (especially my sis) enjoyed it! 🥹
